Try to do some eye exercises and also be sure to relax the eyes. Never read or write in dim light. It will not damage your eyes, but doing so in dim light can cause eye strain or damage your eyes. While reading if your feel tired, then stop doing for a while and take rest for some time. Also do not look at sun directly, it can damage or hurt your eyes. Never look at a bright light directly.
